Luxury winter camping in Lapland or glamping is the ultimate visit into the wilderness in Europe and it activates that part of your brain, that has retained a bit of wildness, a hidden rebellion against the all too comfy life, and a desire to contemplate alternative ways to live. Lapland spans a few countries, but we focus on Lapland in Sweden here.

Spoiler alert: It is more or less the same cost as a nice **** star hotel, not counting transport, which is straightforward, but time-consuming. The bonus is there is a world of difference, in terms of what you get. The wow effect is free.

Now where is the daylight

Do you realize you could actually and very much, in theory, live your whole life in a tent, with no daylight for almost 1/2 the year or very little light, and be happier and healthier for it? You will most likely contemplate that thought for a while in Lapland. What if…The seeming simplicity of life is how it has been in this area for hundreds of years.

Have you slept on reindeer fur?

All you need to know is “how-to” … light a fire, round up some reindeer, the caribou of Northern Scandinavia, and the ability to give and receive food-for-thought entertainment delivered by yourself and friends around the fire.

This Northern light quality meditation gets to you after 24 hours, once you have settled in. The world just got a lot bigger. And now you are relaxed, open-minded, and ready to learn about Lapland and the culture, the people, and nature.

Here is how it may work out. Finally, we cut to the chase. Here is Lapland.
